RCD program

It sure is an exciting time to be a real estate agent or REALTOR® in Nova Scotia! Not only is there a brand new program designed to improve their expertise–Nova Scotia is the first province to do it.

As a real estate professional, our credo is ‘never stop learning’.

I wouldn’t want someone who doesn’t have the latest and greatest knowledge in their field handling one of the biggest purchases of my life. That’s why we deeply value learning new skills and staying on top of our game–so we can keep giving the best possible service to Nova Scotian home, condo, and property buyers.

That’s why the Nova Scotia Association of REALTORS® (NSAR) has launched a first-of-its-kind professional development program: REALTOR® Career Development (RCD™). It’s a 36-month training program for all newly-licensed real estate agents who become members NSAR.

It’s a really novel concept: make new agents even better, improve customer satisfaction, and bolster industry professionalism. The RCD™ Program is a combination of online learning, peer-to-peer learning and mentor support. But what makes RCD™ really great is its real-life learning component: it pairs students with established NSAR members who have experience in the real estate industry.
